Heh, I grew up just east of Baltimore and my school trip for history class was to the (much farther away) St. Mary's City. Just goes to show how different the experiences can be even for people in similar situations! I'm always surprised by which books my husband read in school instead of Watership Down or A Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovitch.
