How women use "fortunes" in their cups as a safe mechanism for gossip, venting, and discussion of taboo subjects without ending up socially ruined.
I'm thinking this is an excellent example of what peer review should look like.
I do think there should be more emphasis on rewarding debunking and deep dives and less on "ooh a shiny novel theory"
